Bangor, Maine
Wood-fired cooking in the heart of Bangor
New American plates, brick-oven pizza and burgers, craft beer and cocktails, a few steps from the Cross Insurance Center.
Bangor’s timber past, set at the table
Bangor was the lumber capital of the world, with logs flowing down the Penobscot to ships bound around the globe. Timber translates that history into a modern dining room of many Maine woods, red flannel and firelight.
Work hard. Play hard. Eat better.

Our brick oven runs at 600 degrees
The signature oven cooks our flatbreads quickly, locking in flavor and leaving a light, crisp crust that can’t be duplicated. Gluten-free dough is available.
A room built of Maine wood
Multiple wood species run through the walls and furnishings, warmed by a woodstove, a custom bar, a communal table and a chef’s table over the fire. Private rooms host small gatherings.

We were completely blown away. This was the best meal we had during our entire trip through Maine and New Brunswick. Every single dish was outstanding.

Awesome restaurant, and excellent service. The lobster ravioli was excellent, the prime rib was great, and the calamari was tender and yummy.

Our waiter was excellent and gave really good recommendations. Definitely recommend the salmon salad, lobster bisque, and crème brûlée.

The service was fast, the drinks were made very well, and the calamari was cooked to perfection. The ribeye was exactly what you would want.
